Postmodernist Revolutionary Struggle:
Mediattack! is a Postmodern music label started in 2000 and based on red new media entertainment.
Struggling as a graphic designer, contemporary artist, and punk musician, Mediattack! was
organized on a hxc hiatus after studying arts and music at various colleges. At this time,
Mediattack! decided to record and release its first new media entertainment production, titled
Unfair? Freedom which was roughly based on the Liberal lyrical theme of a green Watergate
scandle. Many of these were sold in the hxc/postpunk/peacepunk scene and given away to hippie
activists as new media entertainment about corporations. Purchased and distributed by Spiral
Records out of Seattle, Washington, Mediattack! was soon signed to Clear Digital out of Los
Angeles and later began collaboration with Mortarhate Records and Crass Records as an
independent new media mp3 and mp4 sector for activist and punk new media after noted reviews
in Maximum RocknRoll and HeartattaCk. In 2008, Universal Music Publishing Group and
Warner Music Group privately funded Mediattack! for its future of Indie new media entertainment.
Mediattack! distributes mp3 & mp4 through Iris Corporation. Mediattack! artists have played a few
government & art benefit shows to entertain people. The concept remains to be new media entertainment.
